Classical Domain Needs
Your Support

The greatest classical music city in the country needs a platform for the hundreds of organizations and thousands of performers who work to keep classical music alive and push the art form into new directions

As other media cut or completely eliminate their classical music coverage, amid dire press articles and books on the death of classical music — and in light of the difficulty that many organization have in trying to be noticed and get their excellence and efforts recognized — we decided to create an online center for the the huge breadth of classical/art music activities in the city.

Thousands of concertgoers consult our site each week looking for events and new venues, by joining our efforts to support the website with a tax-deductible contribution, you are also helping to increase the visibility and vitality of hundreds of classical music organizations in the city.

If you are already a supporter of the city's myriad of non-profit music organizations, from the institutions of Lincoln Center to the city's small chamber groups and venues, then you know how difficult it is to get the message out to the public. In this time of diminishing media coverage Classical Domain is the best way for your organization to reach the public, but we can not exist without your help.

How you can help?

The success of Classical Domain depends on your contributions, we are an independent resource, help us to promote the artistic excellence and reach the huge potential audience for classical music in the city and the region.

Classical Domain has been chosen to participate The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Emerging Organization Fiscal Sponsorship program. Fiscal sponsorship is a legal means whereby donors can make tax-deductible contributions to organizations that are tax exempt, but do not yet have a federal 501 (C)(3) number to accept donations. NYFA will receive grants on behalf of Classical Domain, and ensure the use of grant funds in accordance with any grant agreements, and will provide program or financial reports as required.

If you would like to make an online donation, you may do so using NYFA's secure server: Donate on line
